Royal chapel

This small church, practically the last Gothic building in Spain, is undoubtedly the most important monument of our city from the historical point of view.

Mausoleum of Isabella and Ferdinand, the conquering Kings of Granada, promoters of the deed of Columbus and his journey to the new World, as well as that of Juana la Loca (Joan the Mad) and Felipe el Hermoso (Philip the Handsome), parents of the powerful Emperor Charles V.

The visit to the interior of the Royal Chapel is an unforgettable experience. Mausoleums, crypt, high altar and especially its extraordinary museum with priceless personal objects of the Kings and Queens, and the fabulous collection of Queen Elizabeth’s Flemish paintings.

Nobody should leave Granada without visiting this place under the experienced hand and explanations of a guide from our Association.
